AI Tip #1

Many of us will need to write either for work or in our personal lives. I know as a solo writer it’s often a lonely task to write where you don’t usually get much feedback on how good your writing is, before you put something out there.

But is there someone on hand 24/7 to review your writing? Maybe there is…🤔

In this weeks AI tip, I’m going to show you how to get feedback on any writing you do, using AI. I recommend you use Claude AI which is free to use.

Copy this prompt into Claude replacing with your text in quotes:

You are an expert writing tutor. Here’s something i’ve written, give me constructive feedback on: 1. Whats good about it 2. Whats not so good about it 3. How it could be improved: “[YOUR TEXT]”

Don’t forget to use the quotes, its important 😁 So for example:

You are an expert writing tutor. Here’s something i’ve written, give me constructive feedback on: 1. Whats good about it 2. Whats not so good about it 3. How it could be improved: “What is less well understood by businesses new to AI is that there is not one but multiple different types of ‘AI literacies’ that are required for different roles within the business to ensure successful AI adoption.”

You could put any kind of text, and Claude should be able to handle a prompt as long as 75,000 words! 🤯 For example, an entire article, or more.

Once you tried that, If you’re feeling a bit daring, change the prompt a bit, see the results… better or worse? You’re now an ‘AI Prompt Engineer’ - Congrats 🥳

I use this AI prompt all the time to review my own work, its very handy.
